Roomie Reunion & Sawtooth Relay

Many many years ago at BYU my freshman year, I had the privilege of having this girl as my roomie.

We were fast friends with a few girls down the hall from us and this year, Amy & Faroe planned a reunion trip to celebrate us all turning 30.

Amy and I spent the first day in Portland while we waited to pick up Faroe & Kendal at the airport.

We stayed in a house a block from the beach in Seaside Oregon.

We hiked ALOT.

One morning we ran about 5 miles on the beach.

We drove a few minutes away to Cannon Beach.

Enjoyed a sunset on the beach.

We toured and ate grilled cheese & ice cream cones at the Tillamook factory. YUM!

We had seafood at this restaurant in Seaside:

This is deep fried Oreos, a Snickers bar and cookie dough. Sounds amazing but was actually super gross.

We did some yoga on the beach.

On the way home Amy and I stopped at Multomah Falls.

And while I was enjoying those beautiful views, Phil was enjoying this view at Redfish Lake:

He ran the the Sawtooth Relay (63 miles total and everyone runs 2 legs) with a group from work and said it was "awesome".
