Sweet Dreams

Sophie slept through the night last Friday! We went to bed about 11 pm and she slept until about 7 am! Halleluia! Hopefully this will happen again soon...

White Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

Try these cookies, they are soooooo yummy!

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 t vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
1 t salt
1 ½ cups uncooked regular oats
2 cups (12 oz) white chocolate morsels
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans

*Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy; gradually add sugars, beating well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating just until yellow disappears after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
*Combine flour and next 3 ingredients; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until blended. Stir in oats, morsels, and pecans. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.
*Bake at 350 for 12 minutes. Cool on baking sheets 3 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. Yield: about 5 dozen

Beauty Sleep

Sophie was wearing a headband today...we didn't know until we got home from dinner that it had slipped down over her eyes! P.S. Phil painted her little fingernails pink!

Photo Shoot

We had a Sophie photo shoot the other day. We put her on this green pillow and she decided to pull herself up like this...she was only 3 weeks old!

Sophie's First Bath

Sophie didn't seem to mind her first bath. She didn't have the most pleasant look on her face and she was a bit squirmy, but she didn't cry!
