Sawyer Lynn Mason

Sawyer came the day after his due date, at 10:48 am on October 1, 2012 here in Biloxi, Missisippi. He is named after his grandfather, Kevin Lynn Mason, who passed away in June of this year and after his uncles Tyler Lynn and Jeremy Lynn. He will also share a birthday with his Uncle Ben!

He was 7 lbs. 15 oz. and 19 3/4 in. long. The labor went fairly smoothly until his heart rate kept going down with every contraction. Way down. It turns out the cord was around his neck (Caitlin's was too) and it was kinda scary but he made it though! We are so thrilled to have the newest member of our family here!

The girls are adjusting well. Caitlin pretty much ignores him except to randomly point and say, "baby, baby!" Sophie is a big helper and loves to hold him.

So far he is an angel. Very content to just hang out and not make a peep unless he is hungry. He had his first bath today.

A couple of hiccups though: Friday Sophie came home from school with pink eye and today I had to go in for mastitis. Oh, the joys of having kids! Its a good thing I have a cute, cute baby I can cuddle and make everything all better.
