My labor was a piece of CAKE compared to Sophie. Started having contractions Wed am about 9:30, went to the hospital around 12:30 and Caitlin was here at 4:48! We are so grateful nothing went wrong except for the epidural wearing off on my left side and the cord was around her neck. Had to just deal with the pain since she came so fast and Dr. Hodges was a pro getting the cord unwrapped quickly.
Right before we left the hospital, we found out Caitlin's bilirubin levels are a little high so they sent us home with a light machine and she's had to be hooked up to it ever since. She's been such a trooper and its been annoying, but we are grateful it isn't anything more serious. She is our little glow worm!
Sophie has been super sweet with her. She hasn't been trying to maul her, just does her own thing and once in a while will come over and give her a kiss or help me change her diaper.
She is gorgeous (as you can plainly see) and I think looks just like Sophie did. I'm sure we'll see more of a difference as she gets older, but right now they are almost identical to me! You decide.

Oh Tarah, she really is beautiful! I am so happy for you, and I'm glad that things were so much easier for you this time. I love how you say you "just had to deal with the pain" like it was no big deal . . . ouch! I'm glad that Sophie is good with her too, she sounds like how Neal is with Kensington, and it is so nice. Congratulations!

Seriously beautiful! They look a ton a like. It will be so fun to see how Caitlin changes as she gets bigger and if they still look a lot alike. I crave her. What a cute family!
