I can't believe Sophie will be 6 months old next week. She is sitting up pretty well so we gave her rice cereal for the first time on Valentine's Day. She loves it and instantly knew to open her
mouth wide for the spoon! She probably has been ready for a while
. We went to get her ears
pierced just in time for Valentine's Day. She screamed for a few seconds, but quickly forgot about it. I think her earings look adorable! She is still a happy baby as long as she has enough sleep, but the last week or so she has decided not to sleep through the night anymore. She will wake up every 20-30 min crying until we go hold her arms still for a few seconds and she'll fall asleep again. Does anyone know of a baby straight jacket?!

Your baby is so adorable! It seems like she was just born. I know they have swaddling blankets that velcro so the baby can't wiggle out . . . basically a straight jacket :) Let me know if you want me to ask my friends where they got theirs!
Tara Joy! I just discovered your blog! Sophie is just adorable. She might be teething, you might try giving her some baby ibuprofen before you put her down... or rub real vanilla on her gums, I heard that works. :) They also have some homeopathic teething tablets that dissolve really quickly at the Co-Op that worked really well for Cash. Keep up the good work, hot mamma!
