We Really Are Mormon Now...

That's what my hair stylist said when she saw our new van. :)

I never thought I'd drive one but it really is awesome! The automatic sliding doors alone are worth it. I don't have to do anything when I drop off and pick up Sophie from preschool. Just blow a kiss and say, "have fun"!

Baby #3 On the Way!

I'm pregnant! Due September 30th. Yep, that's right. I'll be 8 months pregnant when we move to Mississippi and have a month and a half to find a doctor. Also it will be hot and HUMID when we get there. Fun times!

Don't get me wrong though, we are super excited! Big changes coming for our family. Please think BOY for us. :)

Caitlin at 18 Months

Caitlin turns 18 months today!

Her personality is not what we though it was, that's for sure. We are seeing a very impatient side of her! She is not afraid to show her true feelings and if she gets upset, she will hit or scream.

She can still be super sweet though and always makes friends everywhere we go because she loves people. Loves to smile at them and wave and she'll just walk up to random people and start "talking" to them. I've been trying to get her to do it on video but she won't. She really thinks she is talking to you.

We were at Monkey Bizness the other day and she just walked up to some random lady and wanted her to hold her. Then the husband took a picture of them, it was hilarious!

She still loves books and will sit surrounded by them in her room for a really long time pointing and talking.

Her other favorite thing to do is play with her little bike. She likes to turn the music on and then walk and dance in circles around it. (See video below.)

This is a fun and difficult age but Sophie and Caitlin are starting to play well together (sometimes). We love our girls!

VDay 2012

Nothing too exciting this year but here are a few pictures:

Disneyland with Sophie

Our friends the Roes invited us to go with them to Disneyland and thanks to the awesome military deal they are having right now, we went!

We had a blast with Caleb, Meg & Cole and were able to see Phil's cousins Matt, April & Charlie for a day too. The weather so SO perfect. 75-80 degrees!

We had a little set back when the first ride we went on (Pinocchio) scared the crap out of Sophie. She was crying and saying she wanted to go home until (I swear by divine intervention) we came across these leather bracelets that can be engraved with a name and charms. I told Sophie that they were "brave" bracelets and when they put the name on it they also put special superpowers that will make her brave and then she can go on any ride she wants. It worked like a charm and the rest of the trip was fabulous, phew!

Sorry, you missed out Caitlin, but we'll go again in maybe....5 years?
