8 Months, Still Sweet as Can Be

Caitlin is pulling herself up on everything. She could care less about toys because she is too busy trying to stand all the time.

She's doing this silly thing when she gets tired. She wiggles her body, especially her head back and forth from side to side:

I'm 28 again!

I thought I was 28 last year so it was a nice surprise to find out I am 28 again this year!

Usually I don't make a big deal out of my birthday but since we'll most likely be in Mississippi next year, I wanted to celebrate with friends and family.

So...

*My mom took me to WICKED!

I LOVED it. I was so inspired.

*Becca came into town!

Oh, how I love this girl.

* My sis made me yummy banana cupcakes. My fave!

*A birthday dinner at The Blue Door Cafe.

I love jazz.

My Mother's Day Gift To Myself

Yep, I'm gonna do it! I'm gonna learn. And my friends are going to help me, right?

Sewing has been on my list of things to learn for a long time and so I'm just going to jump in with two feet and hope I have even a little bit of talent.

Another Year of Kiwanis

I'm still directing the Kiwanis Boy's Choir and LOVING it. I had a great group this year and each one of them is very special to me. We had tons of fun on our Spring Tour and we finished the year singing in a joint concert with Boise State. My choir director from high school, Linda Schmidt, is director of Boise State choirs this year and she invited us. It was wonderful for the boys to hear the college guys sing and it was a great experience for them.

Hunting for Eggs

This year we went to an Easter egg hunt at the Ball Manor. I was happy to find other things in some of the eggs besides candy like money, silly bands, etc.

7 Months and CRAWLING

Caitlin started crawling on her 7 month birthday. It's kind of funny though because she still can't sit up very well, but she can crawl.

She is starting to show us more of her personality and although it is very sweet, she is not afraid to let us know if she doesn't like something. She loves her sissy and giggles at her often.
